Talk about stunning scenery. I had high hopes of returning to this amazing beach at least once more, but the major highway connecting East Sicily to West Sicily has been shut down, with an hour+ detour put in place, and an estimate of months- to years!- for repair. It looks as though San Vito Lo Capo will have to live as a wonderful memory in my dreams of sunny Sicily for now. Someday, though, we will return.
