While we were in Oregon, my parents, brother and our family all spent a few days in Lincoln City, on the Oregon coast. On the way to the coast we stopped at Evergreen Aviation and Space museum in Mcminnville. I’d never been, but had been wanting to see the Spruce Goose for years and the huge plane certainly didn’t disappoint. I can hardly fathom the amount of work that went into making that large of a plane entirely of wood. We were also amazed by the size of the rockets that the museum housed. The model of the launch station and control rooms was really interesting to explore.
