October 8th through 11th was spent breathing photography. The conference put on by Clickinmoms, Clickaway, was a beautiful experience, full of inspiration, education and chances to make connections. The ability to spend a few days, simply being an adult (who loves pictures) was truly refreshing. I had the opportunity to meet many past students and fellow photographers and tried my hand at boudoir and couples’ photography. Watching other photographers work is always intriguing and photographing photographer while they work might become a new hobby of mine.
All of these images were shot with a Nikkor 45 2.8 tilt-shift lens. I wanted to challenge myself to work with a lens that I’m not as comfortable with as the 24-70 and controlling the plane of focus is a fun challenge.
