Isaac played dress-up in a sailor hat this morning. We only have one, but he found a white sun-hat for Grayden, put it on him and told me “we’re sailor boys, Mama!”
Later we worked on writing some numbers. Oh, my little perfectionist. Mistakes are ok, little man.
Love that first photo. Adorable!
Oh, those wrinkled eyebrows. Poor little guy. He tries so hard, and he’s such a great kid. We played “Sort the UNO Cards” on the picnic table while camping. He LOVED that game. Each number in its own pile. :)
Love that first one Megan! So adorable!
Wow, his eyes are so amazing in that first shot. And what a great little student he is trying so hard. My almost 7 year old daughter was the same way with mistakes at his age; they still trouble her at times, but with a lot of reassurance and assistance showing her how to fix things she is getting much better about them now. A friend of mine who told me her dd was the same way said art classes really helped her get over her perfectionist nature. I better add those to the list of things to do this fall. And, btw, Ryan’s hair is usually the same way when it gets long. I’m always torn between the easy short hair cut that he always has and wanting to let it grow out to a cute surfer style that looks so cute on little boys, but I just can’t get past the longer than an inch stage…so off to the barber we go again!
Oh, his little furrowed forehead! Homeschooling can really tug at your heart when you see your child be so hard on themselves. :(
