243/365: Courage

What a brave kiddo. On the drive to base today Isaac asked “are we going to get shots?” Yes, in fact, we were. He told me “but I don’t want to get shots. I only need 2” (he had 2 shots during our last immunization visit.)

When we got to the clinic he was such a brave kid. No fussing, whining or crying until after the shot and then he calmed down quickly. We discussed the definition of bravery and how he embodied that quality. So proud of him :)

  1. Go Isaac! Jack’s due for a few soon. I haven’t told him yet, I’m too nervous for him. It’s been two years since he’s had any, so I know he doesn’t remember. :(

  2. Between you and Gigi I realize I need to buy some cuter bandaids. I need to think about picture opportunities, lol. What a brave boy. I think shots are always a hard thing for little ones. You captured the memory beautifully!
