This kiddo missed his own bed. More than a little bit.

[portfolio_slideshow: thumbs, true] What a day. Noni and Papa took the little guys on a beach excursion where they were able to dig in the sand with conch shells and sample fresh coconut water. The rest of us went on a Land Rover and Cave excursion. Belize is hot. Like, really hot. And, old-ish Land

On this day, the boys, my parents and I went on a dolphin excursion. We got to touch, feed and give cues to a dolphin… no cameras allowed, though. After dinner it was time for wine on the balcony!

We traveled to Dallas to attend my cousins wedding. It was a beautiful day. Beautiful light in the small chapel. The boys got to play the organ. Organs can make a rather raucous noise. Totally enthralling to a little guy. Well… unless the little guy is totally sleep deprived. My brother.

[portfolio_slideshow: thumbs, true] My peonies were significantly past their prime… but much beauty remains in wilted, browning flowers. (ps- The theme of Clickinmom’s monthly Creativity Exercise for June is “Beautiful Ugly.” The exercises are a great way to work on seeing and shooting more creatively.)

[portfolio_slideshow: thumbs, true] We spent some time with our good friends at the lake they live next to. Kids + lake + playground = happiness.
