What a versatile tool a little SB-600 speedlight is. Controlling shadows is a work in progress, but I have really enjoyed the ability to place a light at will, wherever in the environment that I might want, since beginning to experiment with flash photography. To create these images, I simply placed the flash, balancing on the receiver, on the white dresser. The light bounced off of the angled ceiling and created directional light. I love how it emphasizes the highlights in the subject’s curls!
