The day after Thanksgiving, we decided to head into the city for a day of museums, instead of shopping. Judging by the business of the Natural History Museum, many other people had the same idea. After touring most of the museum, we all agreed that the gem and mineral section (not pictured) was our absolute favorite. The variety of substances that the earth has/creates is amazing!
Gosh, this brought back some memories from living out there 11 years ago. We loved the natural history museum, too, but it was the dinosaurs that we spent the most time visiting. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Merry Christmas, Megan!
