Y’all. There are a lot more creepy crawly things in the South than there are in the Pacific Northwest. And, they tend to be bigger and meaner. (Or tiny and horrible, in the case of fire ants.) We’re used to leisurely traipsing through the woods, not being too cautious about where we put our feet on flat ground. Not so in Alabama. But the Spanish moss helps to make up for the deficit the insects and snakes create. If only that moss would grow in the PNW climate…
