I can’t believe that it has been a year. One year ago today I was attempting to soothe overtired children after 10 hours of traveling across the ocean, exhausted but exhilarated for what lie ahead. This year has been more than I could have hoped for. Sicily is a land of variety; it is incredible, but these diverse images were all taken either on the island itself, or on the Aeolian island of Salina which is a Sicilian territory. I find it difficult to express the gratitude I have for the opportunity to experience this island and get to know some of the people who make it such a unique and wonderful place. Sicilia will forever be in my heart.
